Finally, some activity to comment on! Barry Hessenius, former director of the California Arts Council, has posted his first blog. This contains references, together with his thoughts regarding the Rand report and the subsequent discussions that report triggered at ArtsJournal where they hold regular weekly blogs with contributions by invited artists and arts advocates.

I haven't had time to read it all thoroughly... alas, I'm too anxious to preserve the links while I have them. Hopefully I can edit this later to add any observations.
